Applying to universities can be an exciting experience, but also a complicated, demanding and anxiety promoter task for many grade 12 students. Makassed SAWA Counseling Unit provides secondary students with career guidance services to help them explore their future careers and become lifelong learners and leaders in their society.
Makassed schools have a 100% rate of student acceptance to top universities in Lebanon such as American University of Beirut, Lebanese American University, Saint Joseph University, and Beirut Arab University. Also, high achievers are offered full/partial scholarships to join reputable universities in Lebanon. Many students made it to their dream colleges in the United States, United Kingdom, Turkey, and other countries.

Through this program, students:
- are offered career awareness starting from Grade 10 using reliable and valid career tests
- are provided by career information sessions
- participate in visits to university campuses .
- attend university fairs and meet with local/international representatives to learn about various university majors
- apply for scholarships offered by universities in Lebanon and abroad.
- fill out university application forms.
- Provided by recommendation letters and transcripts needed for applying to universities.
- attend preparatory courses for university entrance exams such as SAT,TOEFL, and IELTS.
