Makassed Learning Abilities Center launched “Nour Darbi” educational resource for the second grade in the presence of Makassed President Dr. Faisal Sinno and the Director General of Education, Dr. Ghina Al Badawi Hafez.
Islamic Education teacher Mrs. Sara Hassounah developed the educational resource designed to bridge the gap between different learning abilities, taking into account individual differences among Makassed students.
The educational resource will be implemented with second grade students during the school year 2019-2020 at Khaled Bin Al Walid College and will be used in all Makassed schools the following year.
It aims at strengthening the analytical and knowledge skills for pupils and develop their communication and motor skills. The kit also helps children consolidate ideas and concepts through exercise and is specialized in developing concentration, problem-solving skills and relieving psychological pressure.
For 142 years, Makassed has worked to strengthen its presence among educators and intellectuals in the Arabic-speaking world through production facilities such as the Makassed Publishing House.
The House issued publications including encyclopedias, children’s books, textbooks, and books addressing various cultural topics. They have been widely adopted by organizations and educational institutions in Lebanon and throughout the Arab World. The Publishing House also entered the technological era by issuing eBooks and audio CDs, marketing active boards and animation works.
