The Makassed Student Council is the voice of the student’s body within Makassed Secondary Schools providing the students with the opportunity to be heard. It aims at helping students share their ideas, interests, and concerns with the Educational Directorate. It seeks to provide students with valuable prospects that promote leadership skills, responsibility and teamwork, in addition to planning events that contribute to Makassed spirit.
Student Council Responsibilities
The Student Council are responsible for the following:
- representing the student’s body at school.
- acting as a liaison between students and school administration.
- solving problems that students might face at school.
- encouraging students to organize and plan school activities.
- raising awareness to build a school climate of tolerance and care.
- planning and making decisions for positive change in the school and community.
